Sea4Us laboratory results show bioactivity of natural compounds of marine origin (raw extracts from marine invertebrates from the South-west region of Portugal) in cell models representing two diseases that affect sociaty today: chronic pain and dermatitis.

Thus, it is intended to explore these natural compounds and develop therapeutic applications. To this end, Sea4Us will go with Innovation Valley to focus on purification of marine extracts and eludication of the chemical structure of molecules with bioactivity in our cell models. Upon completion of this initial phase, Sea4Us will carry out the pre-clinical tests required by legal entities to advance the development of chemical molecules indentified for clinical trials.
